Spring time at The Savoy
This month has been super busy what with the Bank Holiday weekends, family parties, half term break etc that it was fortunate D and I managed to play hooky and meet up for lunch (just the two of us - such bliss) at Kaspars the new seafood place at The Savoy Hotel. London managed to throw up a beautiful sunny day, with real warmth that has been so sadly lacking these few months.
On arrival a cheeky cocktail was ordered, naturally a Cosmopolitan for moi...before we gorged ourselves on delicious Fruit de Mer, Dover Sole with creamy mash and spinach. Followed by Apple Tart Tartin and Gooseberry Trifle. What was a really lovely touch were the chocolates brought with coffees and teas. A giant choc lolly personalised with a message.
