Year's ago (actually for my 30th birthday - yikes nearly 10 years ago) D and I went to Florence, we ate our body weight on amazing food, visited the art galleries and somehow managed to stuff our suitcase with a heap of Missoni iconic stripy towels. These were marked down in a local sale and we thought they were at a bargain price. This was when the Lira was still the local currency and you had to walk about with a wodge of notes and felt rich as a millionaire, a Lira Millionaire! 

When life gets less complicated (children grow older) and hopefully less messy, I still yearn to decorate it and have a home full of zigzags.
