Its all about flats

Another day tripping about the un-even pavements of Oxford Street. Ever since they changed the paving stones to the small square type, bad workmanship has left a lot of the slabs loose, uneven and a hazard to heel wearers. The area exiting Tottenham Court Road station is particularly bad :-(

Why can't Oxford Street have the lovely Portman Stone, big rectangle paving slabs that Regent Street has? And whilst I'm on a rant who are the gum chewing spitting people who leave the black marks on the pavement? What is that all about?

So I need to re-think what to wear - I could don a pair of trainers and change at work into the heels. But since the sunshine is now out I don't want to do that and yet its too early for sandals (its only April after all). So whilst browsing through Net-a-porter, one of my favourite lunchtime habits, I came across these lovely brogue type shoes.

Shiny purple ones by Christian Louboutin, cream ones by Burberry, nude ones by Church's.

  1. I love flats and need to get some brogues, love the Church ones.

I didn't have to bargain hard, I just say it as it is - imperfect goods cannot be sold at rrp set for perfect goods! It gets them every time. I always say it nicely and smile but will walk away if they don't reduce.
Also strangely I didn't get the thrill of the kill, I seem to be too in control and the habitual shopping buzz/high has gone!

  2. I have fabulous blue patent brogues on today that I bought in the asos sale last year... I love them and always get complimented on them. Which ones are you getting? xx
