Lumiere London

If you can make it into London tonight it's worth catching the last day of the Lumiere London light festival. We went to Kings Cross yesterday and had a good time despite the cold ohhing and ahhhing over the lights.

It's amazing when London can pull off an outdoor event with road closures and get everyone outside to explore the city by foot.

Earlier in the afternoon I took the kids to the nearby German Gymnasium for a restorative hot chocolate and cake pit stop. We all needed the extra calories to stay warm! Will no another post with a foodie review.
This was near Waitrose, lots of excitable children running underneath. The Lights glowed in a wave formation.
Laser lights against the Central Saint Martins building - inside they have communal ping pong tables :-)
We were by the smoke machine which puffed out a lot of smoke and the lights were shone through. I took a video but not worked out how to upload it onto the blog!
I'm going to call this the birdcage. Inside is a swing so you can sit inside and swing about and be part of the art installation.

  1. There were a few good installations but I preferred Lumiere London 2016. http://www.jenikya.com/blog

Be nice and kind - only comments you would be happy for your gran/mum/daughter to read. Thank you
