Its a boy

I bought a hyacinth plant in Berwick St Market last week, it didn't look much, a stumpy bulb with a few green bits. I asked what colour the flower would be and the woman hesitated and said blue. Well it kept me guessing but it has finally bloomed and its a boy! The scent is wonderful and it has really filled the office with the joy of Spring. It so nice to smell something real - unlike the nasty air freshener in the loos. Its on a timer so if you have the mis-fortune to be under it when it goes off, you hair reeks of fake peach. Not nice!
