Where are all the pretty flowers?
Still winter and still miserable - but as soon as Spring has sprung I am going to check out the bluebells at The Manor House in Upton Grey. There is something so cheerful, natural and beautiful about a carpet of bluebells. The gardens here were designed by Gertrude Jekyll in 1908. I would love to spend the whole day dead-heading the flowers. The gardens have been painstakingly restored to their formal glory by the current owners.
