RIP

I'm still reeling from the shock that Lee 'Alexander McQueen' has died. He was so very talented and due to show at New York Fashion week today. He graduated a few years ahead of me at art school, I never met him but was inspired by his work. At that time we were emerging from grunge and you felt you were part of a powerful surge of Brit Fashioness. His fashion shows were always shocking and provocative and may have sometimes distracted from the actual clothes. But upon closer examination, you couldn't fault the technique, cut and cloth - a real test for any fashion designer. RIP Lee I hope your soul meets up with with Isabella Blow. xxx
